Current UMD students who want to change colleges into CAHSS must:
1 - be in good academic standing* with UMD, and
2 - have a University of Minnesota cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher, and
3 - have a University of Minnesota and Transferred Credit GPA of 2.0 or higher, and
4 - be accepted to the program via an audition with the Department of Music.
Students are encouraged to visit with a CAHSS Professional Advisor (z.umn.edu/cahssadvising) prior to submitting their application.
*Students who are not in good academic standing (GPA below a 2.0) should meet with a CAHSS professional advisor to discuss change of college options.
