Program learning outcomes

1. Students will explain and apply sociocultural principles of child development to support children's psychological, emotional, and physical well-being in nature-based settings.

2. Students will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of environmental issues, sustainability, and ecological concepts by applying them to nature-based early learning projects that foster environmental stewardship and ecological awareness in children.

3. Students will analyze and integrate cultural perspectives, especially Indigenous worldviews, and place-based learning theory into their understanding of human-nature relations.

4.  Students will collaborate with a community organization or program to enhance nature-based learning opportunities for children, families, and the community.

5. Students will communicate effectively through writing.
