Required credits within the major: 134
Students may complete the environmental education emphasis with this major. The environmental education emphasis is offered by the Department of Education in conjunction with the Department of Biology and the Department of Applied Human Sciences. This emphasis enhances the student's major by integrating environmental education into formal (pre-K-12), as well as nonformal education settings such as parks and nature centers. This emphasis must be taken in conjunction with the teaching life science or teaching earth and space science majors. The emphasis is noted on the student's diploma.
Students must complete 23 credits for the environmental education emphasis. The sub-plan requirements below are a part of the total admission requirement that should be completed prior to admission to the degree program. These are considered prerequisites to the blocks.
