Students must have also completed a minimum of 30 credits by the end of Spring Semester prior to beginning the BSW Program. Transfer students will be allowed to take SW1000 their first semester in the program if the equivalent class is not offered at the institution they are transferring from.

1 - meet with a CEHSP Professional Advisor (z.umn.edu/cehspadvisors).
2 - be in good academic standing* with UMD.

*Students who are not in good academic standing (GPA below a 2.0) should meet with a CEHSP professional advisor to discuss change of college options.
