Graphic Design B.F.A.

1. Students will articulate the interdisciplinary and  contextual nature of design 

2. Students will use theory and history in both conceptual and visual development 

3. Students will create independent and collaborative solutions employing the  design process for problem-solving

4. Students will solve visual communication problems across multiple media  effectively and creatively

5. Students will demonstrate competent use of  current, industry-standard design tools  and software

6. Students will construct and present a professional portfolio of work

7. Students will demonstrate advanced written communication and information  literacy skills in critiquing work
