Course description

Students will learn how to recognize revenue through different methods such as the Cash Method, Point of Sale Method, and Percent of Completion Method. They will also be taught to create both annual and monthly budgets, calculate overhead and profit margins, oversee cost management, and predict cash flow. This will delve into various project delivery methods, such as Design Build and Design Bid Build. Students will grasp the distinctive characteristics of each delivery method and identify the crucial staff required for them. Students will also learn how to use different software tools frequently found in professional environments to craft cost estimates and timelines, considering labor, material, and equipment restrictions. This course will also provide students with the knowledge on technology prevalent in professional settings as a project manager. Additionally, this course offers vital safety insights for project implementation. By learning the knowledge from this course, students might have the foundation to pursue an OSHA 10 certification.Credit will not be granted if credit already received for CE4026; no grad credit.Pre-req: Graduate status or instructor consent
