Course description

This course deals with residential and commercial real estate from the perspective of an investor. Its focus is on the main debt and equity vehicles for financing real estate, with a particular emphasis on mortgages (structure, pricing and securitization through mortgage-backed securities) and real estate investment trusts (REITs). An essential component of the course will be the development of Excel models to analyze real restate investment decisions.
