Course description
In-depth study of ecofeminist and queer ecology theories that explore the interlocking oppressions of women and gender minorities, the earth/nature/other animals, and colonized Others. Scientific, economic, religious, philosophical issues examined. Applied ecofeminist and queer ecology analysis of individual, local, regional, national and transnational ethical, social and environmental issues, such as food and farming, animals, toxins, birthing and reproductive technologies, water quality, and privatization, etc.
