Course description

Every student at UMD is a Minnesota Writer, joining the community of writers from F. Scott Fitzgerald to Wing Young Huie, from Wanda Gag to Linda LeGarde Grover. The course introduces students to historical Minnesota authors, to the diverse array of contemporary Minnesota authors, and to the vibrant literary community of Duluth. Students will then learn about the professional opportunities for Minnesota writers.
